Visit a new country and instead of asking Google what to do at your next destination, view what other travellers did on their holiday to that same location; the foods and drinks, restaurants, places, monuments, excursions, hotels, events, the dos and don’ts.
Features on the ViewPoint app include:
* Share your ViewPoint of the world with the world
ViewPoint’s social feed runway is the place to share and view travel experiences, whether it is a video or photos of the food and drink, restaurants, hotels, monuments, excursions or events. Like, comment, share, save and connect with your fellow travellers. The runway is the place to view the world and its stories.
* Discover the world with a click of a finger before you fly
ViewPoint’s Where To page allows you to search different destination and see the feeds uploaded by your fellow travellers for different categories (foods and drinks, restaurants, hotels, monuments, excursions or events). You can either see all the videos and photos for that location all at once or decide you only want to see a specific category. The choice is yours.
* Connect with friends and other travellers
Stay in touch with friends or connect with new traveller friends, everyone is a stranger before you meet them. Add and follow other travellers and view their world. See their visited places, photos, videos and experiences they’ve shared. Chat and ask for tips or even plan a group holiday together with your friends.
* Plan your next holiday
With so many inspirations, pin the next three places you want to visit on ViewPoint’s Pointer and never spend hours searching for places to visit again. As you visit one of your top destinations, pin another one. Never forget where you’ve pinned with a list of the places you’ve previously pinned and the current ones. Even better you can record your visited places on your profile to keep track and share with your friends and fellow travellers.
* Create a bucket list
Make a bucket list to articulate what experiences you want to explore, tap into your creative side and maximise every moment of your existence. Start ticking off as you put those dreams into action and create meaningful and memorable adventures.
* Take part in the challenge
